Yanmar Zinc Anodes
Yanmar zinc anodes protect the drive, propeller, and other metal parts of your vessel against galvanic corrosion caused by electrical currents in the water while sailing.
Without an anode, corrosion can damage the drive, rudder, propeller, and fittings through the hull. When more than 50% of the anode is worn away, it should be replaced to maintain optimal protection.
Always install the anode correctly and ensure good contact with the surface. Painting the anode is not allowed. With original Yanmar anodes, you are ensured reliable protection against corrosion.
